It’s November and finally the warmer weather seems to have set in. Although I love Winter fashion, I have to admit I am ready to shed the sweaters and throw on the summer maxi dresses. I always know when Summer is ready to hit when I get my invite for the Swim + Resort Series from the WA Fashion Council. This years offering will not disappoint!

Yesterday I attended to the launch of the Swim + Resort Series Program. Amongst a gorgeous brunch, mingling with my fellow bloggers and media personalities, we were treated to a glimpse of what is on offering this year.

In its 4th year the Swim and Resort series just gets better and better. Last year there was one spectacular showcase and this year there will be two! Day one takes place on the new Point Fraser Boardwalk and features national designer Manning Cartell.

Day two will feature local WA designers along with incredible national offering from designer Camilla with her show called ‘From Rio with Love’. I am always delighted when Camilla presents her Summer collection, it never disappoints!

Some of the local designers include Amore + Sorvete, House of SKYE, Morrison, Ocean Zone and SEI Bella Aqua Wear.

Along with the two main days there is also a free show held by Claremont Quarter. They will present their showcase on Thursday the 23rd November at The Square in Claremont Quarter.

Make sure you get in quick as these shows sell out fast! There is always a spectacular offering of treats including champagne and nibbles and then all there is to do is sit back and watch the stunning designs grace the catwalk!

They sure are! I always enjoy the Camilla show, it’s right up my alley with sequins, beads and a whole lot of glam 🙂
